The End :(

So today is monday! This will be my final blog of the uni year!!
.....Now i have to say ive not been a huge fan of this blogging thing BUT now its the end im a little sad!
If you want my oppion on the whole blogging instead of sketchbooks....i like it, its modern and i think students in the future will really relate to it!
It also saves paper! and ink!! haha
So goodbye for now! Im hoping (never thought id say this about this blog) that this is continued next year :)

Ok so im not going to put the final images on my blog as they are not all completed!

I am however going to put just a little few on that didnt make the cut but i still think are amazing!!!!

Polaroid

One last thing from today!! Ayesha has the genius idea of using polaroid in some of the locations! She has an idea of how she wants to print off the final pictures and the way in which they are set out! I have total faith in her so im excited to see!!!

Shoot day!!!!!!!

So its the end of the day!! and i mean the veryyy end! we just finnished shooting half an hour ago and right now its 11:30pm!!!

I have personally had an amazing day! It did NOT rain! the styling worked well with every location and out make up artist was wonderful!!

Our Photographer however....hehe Ayesha you where amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When this project began i was happy to have a new photographer and fresh new ideas! Ayesha is also a model so i knew she would be great with helping the direction of our model!
The whole day was very successful and i have total confidence in the pictures!!

Day before the shoott!

So we're doing our shoot tomorrow! im very excited but more nervous! I feel like there is a lot resting on this photoshoot! My last one was awful and the pictures of this shoot really HAVE to tell the story that we want!

We have four different locations for the shoot tomorrow! Part of the story in each different part.

I hope its not raining!!!!!!!!!!!!

Still Life

We also decided today to add some still life pictures to the story! We thought this could give a creepy feel and really some depth to the story! One of the shots will also include a chalk drawing!

FINAL IDEA!

Ok so today we all sat in Starbucks finalising our idea! Everyone is determined to have a better photo shoot than the first brief so a story and a real meaning behind the photography was our no1 priority!!!

From the opposites idea we had thought of a controversial idea of having one model and she would act all the opposites of her self and of life in general! This could have be easily done crazy make up one picture goth next picture princess kinda thing....this was not what we wanted, we wanted a story! to show the opposties of one personality! The sweet side that changes into something and someone that we and they do not recognise!

We have our one model she is beautiful and girly on a summers day at the beginning of the shoot, we want to show that as it turns dark she changes, not in like a warewolfy kinda way, a subtle change, one that shows she was perfectly happy.. until she wasn't.

The mind is a crazy thing that make people doubt them selves and do things that is awful, we're going to show with our pictures how she tore and wore her self down, basicly her mind playing tricks on her to the point where she has nothing left, where she has killed all the nice things about her personality.

Blog not posting properley!

Adam id just like to let you know that my blog seems to muddle all the words up that i have typed, i post it then look at it and everything is mixed up! I also got banned from posting some pictures? they where just of cheese??? nothing bad at all!! anyway it would not let me see the pictures and everything i have posted was deleted!!! I have put most things on again! weather you can see them i dont know!
I also tried to make a new blog but that would not work! So i am going to continue to post on this blog however it comes out!

Guy Bourdin

For this project our biggest inspiration is definatley guy bourdin, As a group we had a huge brain storming session, we had looked into a few different things todo with chalk and where set on an idea with the dance and sport.
We felt we could do better and really stretch our ideas! After constantly think about opposites like chalk and cheese..

The more that we thought about it ideas just kept popping into everyones head, there is a very muddled up explanation as to out final pictures but once explained we feel everything is relevant!

Gymnastics

One of the thoughts wed had as a group was chalk used within gymnastics and dance!
I thought of mine was imaging the shapes and illusions we could get with 'flying chalk', its hard to explain but i have an image in my head!

The next thought that i had was the twinings tea advert!

The shapes that have been made with this tea coudl be something we could do with the broken up chalk! Using body shapes using models in a very experimantal way.

Hard work

The hard work starts now!
Personally there has been alot going on and unfortunatley to say my blag has not been the highest of my priority's!
This was my biggest down fall in my lats project! i do like the blog but i find it very hard to 'get into' it, with a sketchbook i liturally write about all the little ideas in anyway possible i also like to do that creativly, in a way i "miss it" a blog does not inspire me, but i can really see how people may like it!
I know i have already lost marks by not keeping ontop of my blog but i have sourced alot of things for our project!
Before easter we did a class presentation of our idea! Its fair to say that our idea was not the greatest, mainly becuase it hadnt been thought about much at all! with other huge projects going on you always leave the latest deadline till last!!
Having listened to others project, everyone has really gone off on a tangent and their final ideas dont have anything todo with the origanl present that the group unpacked!!
As a group we felt that we take inspiration from as many things as possible and somehow it will lead back to the chalk....
